Tipperary is building its tourism destination reputation across the world with recent endorsements from the Lonely Planet ‘Best in Travel 2026’.

The tourism industry and supporting agencies across the county have worked hard in recent years to build the experience and brand of Tipperary as a destination, and this work has attracted the attention of a wide range of domestic and international visitors.

Building on this success, Tipperary Tourism is proud to invite tourism-related businesses across the county to join our membership scheme for 2026, where Tipperary Tourism members can collaborate to further enhance the tourism offering, increase visitor numbers, and extend tourism dwell time in Tipperary.

Mary Fogarty, of The Cottage, Loughmore Cashel, believes the value of Membership is incredible.

She said: “Being a member of Tipperary Tourism brings real, meaningful benefits to our Community Tearooms - both in terms of visibility and the wider impact it has on the local area.

"First and foremost, it opens the door to greater exposure through inclusion in tourism guides, websites and social media campaigns.

"Our Community Tearooms have become part of Tipperary's story, helping visitors discover not just a place to eat but a genuine community experience. Another advantage for us is the marketing support and shared promotion.

"Instead of working in isolation, we meet like-minded people who, like us, are all working to promote the best of what Tipperary has to offer.

"We share our experiences and stories, along with the sense of belonging that makes being a member of Tipperary Tourism unique.  We at The Cottage Community Tearooms, Loughmore, are very proud to be members of Tipperary Tourism," Mary said.

Jean Touhy of Noan Country House believes that in becoming a Tipperary Tourism Member, you become part of a strong network: “I opened my new business - Noan Country House Bed and Breakfast in 2022.

"I had no experience in tourism, and if I was going to succeed, I needed to join a group or organisation. Tipperary Tourism was the perfect fit for me and my business.

"Every business has goals to grow visibility, grow revenue and achieve long-term sustainability.

Tipperary Tourism does all of this under one roof.

"My membership puts Noan Country House directly into regional and national promotion campaigns. Tipperary Tourism actively markets its members through its website, Tipperary.com, and consistently runs campaigns across all its social media channels.

"These campaigns reach domestic and international tourists who may never find me independently.

"As a small business trying to find its way, this is a major win.

"As a Tipperary Tourism member, you can serve as a trusted source for visitors planning their trips.

"Being listed on Tipperary.com means inclusion in recommended accommodation lists and potential partnerships with tour operators. This can translate into increased bookings," Jean said.

Tipperary Tourism Membership is available at €120 per year, where new members can avail of an introductory offer of joining Tipperary Tourism at €200 over two years.

There are many appealing benefits to becoming a Tipperary Tourism Member, including access to stunning photography and video of the county, features on Tipperary Tourism’s social media and website and profiling in domestic and international publications, along with access to training workshops and PR trips that will enhance the tourism business.
