Roscrea Trail Blazers on the summit of Moylussa Co Clare for a very special 70th birthday celebration
On Friday night last Roscrea Trail Blazers had another well attended walk around the Kinnitty/Glinsk Castle Loop in the Slieve Blooms with their annual meeting afterwards to set out their schedule of walks for 2026.
They have trips to Austria, Snowdon in Wales, island trips and lots more waymarked walks to complete next year and its shaping up to be a very busy year.
On Saturday last they had a walk up by Glenbarrow Waterfall with a dip in the new Sauna/cold plunge pool at GlenBarrow carpark, a fantastic way to end the walk and they would highly recommend it.
On Sunday they had a walk up Moylussa with a 70th birthday celebration at Larkin's Bar and Restaurant at Garrykenedy on Lough Derg. A very busy weekend indeed.
There will be no walk this Friday December 5th as they are having their Christmas Party on Saturday at Dan and Mollys Bar at Ballyboy. If it's anything like last year it should be a great night.
They would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
