BANAGHER Tidy Towns is calling on all community members to lend a hand in keeping the town looking its best this July.
Volunteers will be meeting every Saturday throughout the month to participate in a town-wide initiative.
The effort will focus on litter picking, weeding, sweeping, and general tidying of public spaces.
The first event was a resounding success with a great turnout of enthusiastic volunteers. The team managed to make a significant impact, but more hands are needed to keep the momentum going.
To show their appreciation, the Tidy Towns committee, along with Supervalu Banagher, are offering a well-deserved breakfast for all volunteers after each clean-up session.

As an added incentive, every volunteer will be added to a draw for a €50 Supervalu voucher that Supervalu Banagher has generously donated.
The group meets every Saturday in July at the Playground at 10am and Every Tuesday at 7pm during the summer months. All are welcome to join regardless of age or experience.
