A very unique and special event will be held next month with a pilgrimage from Roscrea to celebrate Mass on the Holy Island of Monaincha.
St. Cronan's Pastoral Area will hold their Roscrea Jubilee Walk / Pilgrimage to Monaincha Abbey on June 15th and it promises to be a very memorable and poignant event in the stunning setting of ancient Monaincha Abbey.
Bishop Fintan Monahan, Bishop of Killaloe, will celebrate the Mass at Monaincha Abbey at 12 noon.

The walk/Pilgrimage starts at 10am from St. Cronan's Church, Abbey Street in Roscrea and "further details to follow later" in the Midland Tribune the organisers said.
