We are almost two months into 2025 and already Roscrea Trail Blazers club have been to the island of Madeira off the coast of Portugal.
A group of 14 had a fantastic week exploring the very tropical and lush island. Well done to everyone that made the effort to see this magical island.
The club have a packed 2025 ahead with several trips overseas and a lot of challenge walks over the coming months. The walk last Thursday night was the Golden Grove Loop outside Roscrea led by local man Martin Ryan. Well done to everyone that made the effort.
The walk this Thursday night February 20th sees the club heading back to The Slieve Bloom Mountains with a walk around The Kinnitty Castle/Glinsk Castle Loop. Distance 7.5km, Grade Easy/Moderate, Time 1.5 hours. Meeting at The Kinnitty Castle Carpark at 7.30pm, please bring head torch.
They would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
