On Tuesday last Ms. Loughnane and her 6th Year  LCA Hotel, Catering and Tourism group went for breakfast in the Ugli Duckling cafe on Main Street in Roscrea and a short walking tourist trail of the town of Roscrea as part of a key assignment.

Naz, the owner of the Ugli Duckling showed the students around the cafe, spoke to the students about catering operations and answered all their questions. This was a very enjoyable and valuable trip for the students based on the practical nature of Hotel, Catering and Tourism industry.

“Many thanks to the Ugli Duckling for having us and serving us a selection of delicious breakfasts”, Coláiste Phobal said.

Well done to our Student Council representatives Ally Gleeson and Bailey Loughnane who made the presentation on behalf of the Student Council.
