ALERT: More counties added to Met Eireann Warning as strong winds and rain forecast in run up to Halloween
More counties have been added to Met Éireann Weather Warnings as strong winds and rain is forecast for Ireland in run up to Halloween.
At present there are three Weather Warnings in place for Thursday for Ireland from Met Éireann.
A Status Yellow Rain warning for Cork and Kerry is valid from 11am on Thursday until 8pm on Thursday. Met Éireann is warning that there could be spells of heavy rain that could lead to localised flooding, difficult travel conditions and poor visibility.
Status Yellow Wind warning for Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford will be in place from 11am on Thursday until 11pm on Thursday. Met Éireann is warning that there will be very strong and gusty southerly winds with gales on coasts.
There is also a Status Yellow Rain warning for Galway and Mayo from noon on Thursday until 8pm. Met Éireann is warning that there could be spells of heavy rain that could lead to localised flooding, difficult travel conditions and poor visibility.
