Gardai investigating burglary at Birr Castle
Gardai are investigating after jewellery was stolen from a house in a rural area in Offaly.
The house was broken into and robbed during the night of Saturday, July 26.
The house in Ballybritt was broken into when the owners were away for the night and an unspecified amount of jewellery was taken.
Gardaí say they are following a number of lines of inquiry.
