Ireland is set for at least another week of sunny weather with Met Eireann forecasting that the current spell of glorious weather will last into next week at least. While there will be some rain around for parts of the country at times, temperatures are set to rise as high as 24 degrees in the coming days with temperatures in the 20s forecast for the weekend.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, high pressure will bring dry, settled conditions for the latter half of this week and into next week with plenty of sunshine and temperatures into the high teens or low twenties.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Wednesday will be another sunny day for most. Showers will develop in parts of Munster and south Connacht through the afternoon and evening, some heavy with a chance of thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 16 or 17 degrees in eastern fringes to 24 degrees in the west in moderate easterly winds.

Any showers will die out early on Wednesday night, leaving clear skies nationwide. A few mist and fog patches are possible in a light easterly or variable breeze. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Thursday will be warm and sunny, with sunshine turning a little hazy at times. Highest temperatures generally of 18 to 22 degrees, but slightly cooler near eastern coasts in light to moderate northeast winds.

Remaining dry overnight on Thursday with clear skies. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in a light easterly breeze.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Friday will be another dry and largely sunny day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees but once again marginally cooler in the east due to light to moderate easterly winds.

It will stay sunny and warm for the weekend. Highest temperatures generally of 17 to 22 or 23 degrees, with coolest conditions again in eastern coastal counties due to easterly breezes.

Met Eireann says that current indications suggest that it will stay settled and warm for the early days of next week with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties.
