FAILE Vintage Club members were on hand on Saturday night last to present the beneficiaries of this year’s run with their cheques.
Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada and Molesworth Bridge Community Playground both put in a huge effort to fundraise and with the support of the participants of the tractor run, both received a cheque for €8,000.
Donna Ni Mhairtin of Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada was delighted and sincerely thanked the FAILE committee – the money will go towards equipment for the sensory room – Sensory Grass, Fidget toys and a deep pressure ball pit are just some of the items to be purchased.
Sarah Fitzgerald representing Molesworth Bridge Community Playground also thanked the committee for the opportunity to take part in this year’s run.
The funds received will go towards maintenance of the playground and also go towards purchasing additional equipment in this well used amenity in Daingean.
FAILE Committee members congratulated both groups and thanked them for making this year's run a great success.
