Offaly woman retires after 38 years working in well-known local business

A skilled book-keeper has retired after almost 40 years service at an Offaly business

Last Friday was the end of an era at a busy Tullamore hardware store.

Josie Larkin, Killurin retired on Friday after working for over 38 years in Cloonan’s hardware on Tullamore's William St.

Josie worked as the book keeper, having started in the firm at the tender age of 17.

She left for a couple of years to raise her family and then returned to the firm.

Best wishes are extended to Josie from Siobhan, Michelle, Rodge and Lisa.
