UPDATE: The search for the missing man in Offaly has been stood down this morning

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of an Offaly man who has been missing since last Friday, March 7.

Gardai have appealed from information on the whereabouts of 60-year-old Patrick Dolan who was reported missing from his home in Birr, Co. Offaly on Monday, March 10.

Patrick was last seen in Cloghan, Co. Offaly, on Friday, March 7 at approximately 3pm.

Patrick is described as being approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and red hair. It is not known what Patrick was wearing when last seen.

Gardaí and Patrick's family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with information on Patrick’s whereabouts is asked to contact Birr Garda Station on (057) 916 9710, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
