The organisers of the Offaly Culture Night events have regrettably made the decision to cancel a number of their shows around Tullamore this Friday evening, September 21.
The Choral Carousel event, due to take place at Áras an Chontae, Tullamore, has been postponed due to the extension of the National Ploughing Championships to Friday, organisers said.
In a statement, the added, "Áras an Chontae will not be accessible to choirs and members of the public due to traffic restrictions and management."
It's understood a new date for the Choral Carousel event is being planned.
In addition, members of the public will be unable to view works from #TullamoreCamera Club and artist, #JulieSpollen on Friday, September 21.
Also in Tullamore, the book launch event scheduled for the library in Tullamore on Friday has also been cancelled.
Elsewhere in the county, Michael Bulfin's event at the Lough Boora Visitor Centre has also fallen foul to the Ploughing extension.
There is still a host of events taking place around the county:
