Offaly TD provides update following meeting with Fastway Ireland receivers

OFFALY Fine Gael TD John Clendennen, has provided an update following recent engagement with the receivers appointed to Fastway Ireland.

Mark Degnan and Brendan O’Reilly from Interpath Advisory were appointed as receivers when Fastway Ireland ceased to trade with immediate effect from 28 October 2025. Thousands of parcels were being processed or in transit at the time.

The receivers have confirmed in a meeting with Deputy Clendennen that they have made significant progress in the processing of over 70,000 parcels, with the intention of making all remaining items available for collection to Fastway Ireland customers, as early as next week, subject to ongoing progress.

“This entire situation has been absolutely devastating for Fastway customers, staff, and all those impacted by the receivership. However, the progress outlined to me is very much necessary and an important step toward getting parcels back to their rightful owners,” said Deputy Clendennen.

Parcels that would have originally been sorted by delivery location had to be returned to be resorted based on customer details. This was a significant logistical undertaking, given the large quantity of parcels involved.

Direct customers who do not hear from the receivers within the next week are advised to make follow up contact via nuvioncustomers@interpath.com.

“I will continue to stay in close contact with the receivers and will do everything I can to ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved for every stakeholder involved,” concluded Clendennen.
