Large and historic home in Offaly sells for just under €1 million

A stunning Georgian home in Offaly that is described as being elegant and tastefully renovated has sold for just under €1 million. Larch Vale House, Moneygall was initially on the market with an asking price of €1.2 million but that later dropped to €1 million.

It is described as being impeccably updated to modern standards while retaining the original facade, the high ceilings and the beautifully proportioned rooms from the Georgian period.

According to figures on the Residential Property Price Register, the house ultimately sold for €987,500. The Register is compiled from data which is filed, for stamp duty purposes, with the Revenue Commissioners.
