The Fianna Fáil Women’s Network Conference took place on Saturday last, September 20, in Tullamore, bringing together women from across the country to engage in a day of dialogue, leadership, and empowerment.
The event featured engaging panel discussions on “Women and Democracy in the World” and “Trade and Tariffs”, with the latter chaired by Cllr Claire Murray of Rhode . Both topics sparked vibrant and thoughtful discussion, with participants highlighting the importance of women’s voices in shaping not only national policy but global affairs.
Offaly Fianna Fáil CDC is especially proud to congratulate Karen Malone on her election as the Social Media Officer of the Women’s Network. Karen’s dedication and passion for inclusive communication and political engagement will be a tremendous asset to the Network.
Chair of the Offaly CDC, Ronan Feighery , welcomed the outcomes of the conference: “It was an honour to host such an important event in Offaly. The discussions we heard today reflect the increasing and essential role of women in shaping the democratic and economic future of our country and beyond.
