Access to parts of the Grand Canal in Offaly is being restricted on Friday, September 19 and Monday, September 22 to allow filming to take place.

Waterways Ireland has advised masters of vessels and greenway users that access will be temporarily restricted at two locations to accommodate a commercial film production taking place along the Grand Canal in Offaly.

On Friday, September 19 between 9am and 7pm there will be restrictions at Shannon Harbour, Lock 35 and on Monday, September 22 between 10am and 7pm there will be restrictions at Belmont, Lock 33.
