A hurling club in Offaly has been given the go ahead by Offaly County Council to install floodlights at its ground

St Rynagh's Hurling Club is planning for the development at its grounds in Banagher.

The plans will see the installation of six 20 metre high flood lighting columns which will accommodate a total of 42, 1.5kw LED floodlights.

The plans also include a 150kva Generator, underground service ducting and associated site works for the training pitch to the north side of the grounds.

Planning permission has been granted with six conditions attached.
