Man in the Midlands who admitted breaching a Protection Order remanded in custody

A man has admitted to breaching a protection order in the Midlands.

The man (25), who has a Laois address, appeared before Portlaoise District Court via video link accused of breaching a protection order at an address in Laois on July 31. 

The man told Judge Michael Ramsey that he wanted to plead guilty but he didn’t want to be sentenced during the brief court appearance. 

Judge Ramsey noted the guilty plea and remanded the man in custody and made a production order for the man to appear before Portlaoise District Court on August 14 for finalisation.
