The 'Gift' that keeps on giving - Tullamore GAA lauds club legend who lined out at weekend
Tullamore GAA has lauded a club legend who lined out in a Junior C Hurling Championship game at the weekend.
In a post on their social media channels, the club praised their Junior C hurlers who defeated Gracefield on a 2-18 to 2-9 score line in the opening game of the championship on Saturday evening.
The club also took the opportunity to laud a club legend and a well name GAA figure in Offaly and further afield.
Along with the picture above, the post read: "The evergreen Damien 'The Gift' Fox lining out in the goals making it his sixth decade of service hurling for the club, a fair achievement."
Commenters on the post also praised Damien with one noting that he took to the field in the Junior C Championship after warming up the club's minors ahead of their game.
