IN PICTURES: Important exhibition in Offaly officially opened by French Ambassador

A HUGELY important exhibition of historic astronomical drawings, including sketches said to have influenced Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, was officially opened by the French Ambassador to Ireland, Her Excellency Céline Place, on Friday morning last. The Rosse Drawings Exhibition will run in Birr Castle's Copper Tree Gallery throughout the summer until September 28. PICTURES: Rose Mannion
