Anna Marie Conroy with fashion icons Arthur Gourounlian and Brian Dowling
The winner of the Barberstown Castle Sapphire Style Awards at the Curragh Racecourse in Co Kildare on Saturday was Anna Marie Conroy from Offaly.
With this year’s theme “Shine in Blue,” racegoers lit up the course in bold and breathtaking shades of blue, and Anna Marie from Ferbane won a glittering prize including a luxury stay at Barberstown Castle and a sapphire worth €5,000.
Anna Marie was wearing a vintage Karen Millen suit that was in her wardrobe for the last 15 years. She accompanied the suit with shoes from Dune, a hat by Alison Roe Roscrea.
The outfit was completed by a vintage blouse and bag borrowed from her mum Marie, and a necklace is borrowed from her mother-in-law Margaret.
