Fixture confirmed for Offaly's Tailteann Cup quarter-final clash with Kildare
The fixture has been confirmed for Offaly's Tailteann Cup quarter final clash with Kildare.
Offaly were originally drawn against Wicklow for the quarter-final but as that would have been a repeat fixture, Offaly were put back in the bowl and were subsequently drawn out against Kildare.
The game will be part of a double header with the All Ireland Senior Hurling clash between Kildare and Dublin in Newbridge. Kildare won the Joe McDonagh Cup on Sunday with a comfortable win over Laois.
The game between Kildare and Dublin will throw in at 4pm while the football clash between Kildare and Offaly throws in at 6.30pm
It will be the third meeting between Offaly and Kildare this year with Offaly having won the previous two including the Division 3 League Final.
