Familiar opponents for Offaly as draw made for Tailteann Cup quarter-final
Offaly have drawn Kildare in the quarter-finals of the Tailteann Cup. Offaly had initially drawn Wicklow but that would have been a repeat fixture so they went back into the bowl and were then drawn against Kildare.
It will be the third time Offaly will play Kildare this year having met in the group stages of the league and also in the league final with Offaly winning both games. The draw was made this morning on Morning Ireland on RTE Radio One.
The game will be played next weekend in Newbridge.
Offaly advanced to the quarter-finals with a comfortable win over New York in Glenisk O'Connor Park on Saturday afternoon.
Elsewhere Fermanagh will host Sligo, Wicklow will host Westmeath and Limerick will play Wexford.
