Man who failed roadside drug test after crash appears at Tullamore court

A MAN who failed a roadside drug test was put off the road for one year at Tullamore District Court.

Kevin Walsh (30) of Derrygreenagh Park, Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath was stopped at Barnan, Daingean on June 29, 2024 by Garda Lisa Fitzpatrick.

He had been involved in a road traffic collision.

Mr Walsh had two previous convictions for public order. Solicitor Patrick Martin said Mr Walsh had two children, one child on the way.

Judge Andrew Cody disqualified Mr Walsh for one year and fined him €300.
