Offaly team announced for pivotal Leinster Senior Hurling showdown with Antrim
The Offaly team has been announced for the pivotal Leinster Senior Hurling Championship showdown with Antrim in Tullamore on Sunday.
While a draw would do for Offaly, it is effectively a relegation play off with the losing side set to drop to the Joe McDonagh Cup next year.
The team shows a number of changes, mainly positional, from the side that started the game last weekend against Wexford.
James Mahon is named in place of Sam Bourke in the starting 15 with Cathal King named to play in midfield this week having started at corner-back against Wexford.
There are a number of positional changes in the forward line with Jason Sampson named at wing-back having started at corner-forward last week. Killian Sampson is named at wing-back this week having started in midfield last week.
It remains to be seen how Offaly will line out when the ball is thrown in a 2pm on Sunday.
Offaly GAA is urging supporters to come out in force in Glenisk O'Connor Park on Sunday to get behind the team.
