Judge says Offaly woman who has not completed community service is 'ducking and diving'

The woman appeared before Judge Andrew Cody

A woman who failed to complete 200 hours community service was given until September to complete the order.

Rosanne McDonagh otherwise known as Rosanne Devlin, Meadow Lands, Kilcormac, Offaly, was handed down the hours for a number of motor offences.

She had 160 hours outstanding, Probation Officer Ann Walsh told Judge Andrew Cody.

When contacted, she said she had a issues with public transport and health issues.

Judge Andrew Cody said she has been 'ducking and diving' for the last six years as some of her offences date back to 2019. ''What is her problem''? he asked.

Solicitor Patrick Martin said Ms McDonagh had four children but will prioritise completing her hours from now.

Judge Cody gave her until September 17 next for completion of the community service.
