Three exhibitors from Offaly announced for prestigious Bord Bia Bloom in the Phoenix Park
Bord Bia Bloom has announced that four exhibitors from Offaly across garden design, food and drink will be joining this year’s exciting event line-up at the prestigious event.
With just three weeks to go until the festival of flowers, food and fun returns to its home in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, organisers are encouraging visitors to plan their visit and enjoy a great day out this summer.
The Offaly exhibitors are Rudd’s from Syngefield, a trusted brand for over fifty years that is renowned for its high-quality range of breakfast meats, including sausages, bacon, black pudding, and white pudding.
Simpli Baked from Tullamore is a premium tortilla manufacturer and it will be launching its new brand Simpli Wraphouse.
Biasol, also based in Tullamore, will be showcasing their new its new High Protein Granola at Bloom.
Louise Checa from Birr will return to Bloom to design the Citroën Downsizers’ Garden. This garden, inspired by and featuring the new Citroën Ami, is designed for downsizers and highlights how our needs evolve in tune with our lifestyles and life stages. It will demonstrate how even in a relatively small space, it is possible to enhance comfort, improve wellbeing, encourage mobility and social interactions, and increase sustainability.
The festival expects to welcome over 100,000 visitors across its 70-acre site, which will play host to 21 spectacular new show gardens at the centre of the experience.
Visitors to Bloom can meet over 100 of Ireland’s top food and craft drink producers at the Food Village and Bloom Inn.
Attendees can also enjoy delicious food from plenty of food trucks, the BBQ Bliss area or Bloom’s four on-site restaurants: The Garden View Restaurant, Bistro Bloom, Country Crest Restaurant and The Seafood Terrace. New for this year is ‘A Taste of Bloom, curated by Neven’ a three-course dining experience celebrating quality Irish produce designed exclusively by chef Neven Maguire for Bloom.
Green-fingered visitors can also enjoy the perfectly formed petite Postcard Gardens supported by Tirlán CountryLife, breathtaking plants in the Nursery Village and The Plant Emporium, live demonstrations and interactive workshops including floral crown making in the Botanical Hub, and exhibitions of Botanical and Floral Art and AOIFA’s (Association of Irish Floral Artists) Floral Art Competition.
