With high temperature set to dominate, temperatures are set to reach as high as 21 degrees this week with Met Eireann forecasting warm and sunny days with just the odd shower at times.
The latest Met Eireann weather forecast says that high pressure will bring largely settled conditions over the coming days with plenty of dry, bright and warm weather on the way.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, any drizzle in the northwest will quickly clear to leave a dry day tomorrow Monday. Once again, mild or rather warm spells of hazy sunshine will develop widely. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees, best values further north, away from southern counties, all in a moderate south to southeast breeze.
Dry with clear spells on Monday night. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with a mainly light southeast or variable breeze.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Tuesday will be warm and sunny with highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, in a light southeasterly breeze.
Tuesday night will be dry with clear spells. Some patches of mist and fog will form in light southeasterly or variable winds. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, a few showers are possible in the afternoon on Wednesday but otherwise dry and sunny. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in a light southerly breeze.
Wednesday night will be dry with clear spells, before cloud builds in the northwest later. Patches of mist and fog will form in light southerly or variable winds that will veer northwesterly by morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Cloud will extend southwards across the country on Thursday with some light isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in Connacht and Ulster and between 15 to 20 degrees in Munster and Leinster. Light to moderate northerly winds.
According to the Met Eireann, the further outlook is that nearby high pressure looks likely to continue to dominate Ireland's weather although some light rain or showers are possible at times. Daytime temperatures will fall back slightly next weekend, generally getting into the mid-teens.
