Offaly athlete continues fine form breaking course record at 4-mile road race in Dublin

Ann-Marie McGlynn from Lettekenny AC breaks course record at Lusk 4-mile road race

Ann-Marie McGlynn comes home at the Lusk 4-mile road race in Dublin

Offaly native Ann-Marie McGlynn was the winner of Sunday's Lusk 4-mile road race in Dublin.

Running for Letterkenny Athletic Club, McGlynn strode to victory in the female category.

She won the racen an impressive time of 20 minutes 30 seconds, setting a new course record and earning her a 10th place in the overall standings.

McGlynn, originally from Mucklagh, Co Offaly, and now living in Strabane, Co Tyrone, won her first National Marathon Championship title in October 2023. 

Last month she finished ninth at the European Champions Clubs Cup Cross Country in Albufeira, leading Letterkenny AC to a ninth-place finish in the team standings.
