A retro video of the Vintage Week and Arts Festival in Birr, Offaly, from 1976 has surfaced online.
The throwback video, that was posted on social media app TikTok by user @M0VIMIX, sees 100s of people line the streets of Birr to enjoy the parade of vintage bikes, cars, marching bands, Irish dancers, ponies and traps and even a comical interaction with a member of An Garda Síochána.
Clips of the crowds can be seen waving and enjoying the festivities in the three minute video which has a warming sense of nostalgia, hearkening back to what seems like a simpler time.
