You'll never guess how long this driver has been on a learner permit as car seized
Gardaí in Kildare arrested an unaccompanied learner driver while carrying out a checkpoint in Barberstown recently.
The driver had held their learners permit for over 18 years.
Not only were they unaccompanied in the car, the driver also tested positive for cocaine.

It was found that the driver was an unaccompanied learner who had held their permit for 18 years.
They also tested positive for cocaine.
They were arrested and the car was seized.

Gardaí arrested the driver and seized the car.
They are due to appear in court soon for the offence.
