IN PICTURES: Search now on for Offaly's next Rose of Tralee

THE search is underway to find the 2025 Offaly Rose and young women from all over the county are invited to apply online ahead of this year’s Offaly Rose Selection which will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20, in the Tullamore Court Hotel. The Offaly Rose team had a fantastic attendance of Offaly Rose applicants to launch the search recently in the Tullamore Court Hotel. Present at the launch was the current International Rose of Tralee, Keely O’Grady who briefed the applicants as to what is in store for them on their journey.

They are also delighted to confirm the support of , Geraldine O’Meara Dress designer, Denise Casey, Milliner, who commented, “I am delighted to be involved in sponsoring the Offaly Rose again this year, it is always an honour to have my hats & headpieces being worn on an international stage, Best wishes to the Offaly Rose committee and all Rose contestants” .

Lyn Moloney Offaly Rose Co Ordinator, said, “’The Rose of Tralee international Festival is the most incredible experience and I would encourage as many young women as possible to take part and become their local Rose. I guarantee them they will make incredible friends and have an amazing experience.. Many people think that the Rose of Tralee festival is just one week long and they don’t realise that the Roses and Rose Escorts have so many incredible experiences throughout the whole year. All I can say to any young woman is to ‘go for it and apply! “

Current Offaly Rose Allie Leahy commented: “Entering the Rose of Tralee international Festival was undoubtedly the best decision I have ever made and After been crowned the Offaly Rose 2023, I then set out to embark on an experience of a life time.

“I have made the most exciting memories, and met the most lovely people who I thankfully will have in my life forever from all parts of the world - my Rose Family.

Being a representative of Offaly was one of the proudest moments in my life, and one that I will cherish forever.”

The organisers would like to invite GAA, Camogie Clubs, Societies, Groups and Businesses to nominate a representative from their respective Communities to take part in one of Offaly’s Annual flagship Events.

The Offaly Rose Centre would be delighted should any Club, Society or businesses consider sponsoring an entrant for the 2025 Offaly Rose Selection.

As an Offaly Rose entrant sponsor there are several ways that your company/organisation can benefit from supporting a Offaly Rose entrant:

Your sponsor’s name will appear on your entrant’s sash which is worn at all official Offaly Rose events that take place throughout the county

Your sponsor’s name will appear on the screens throughout the selection evening on Easter Sunday

Your sponsor’s name will be included on the Facebook page (Offaly Rose Centre)

Your organisation will be associated with the Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland’s largest and longest running festivals, connecting the worldwide Irish diaspora.
