Longford Gardaí launch investigation following death of baby girl
The baby girl was found unresponsive at a residential property yesterday morning, Sunday, January 26.
A postmortem is due to take place today, Monday, January 27.
A spokesperson said gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death.
“The deceased baby has been removed to the mortuary at Crumlin Children’s Hospital where a postmortem is due to take place.
“The State Pathologist will conduct the postmortem and the results will determine the course of the investigation."
