Power lines and trees have been downed across Offaly as Storm Eoghan continues to hit hard. A Met Eireann Red Weather Warning for Offaly remains in place until 11am.
Damage has also been caused to homes and other premises with slates and tiles blown off roofs.
The ESB is reporting that there are number of power outages in Offaly.
There are outages in Edenderry, Daingean, Garryhinch, Portarlington, Tullamore, Clara, Ballinahown, Kinnitty, Blueball, Cloghan, Belmont, Banagher and Birr.
The ESB warns people that fallen electricity Wires are live and dangerous. Never approach or touch them. Call the ESB's emergency service immediately on 1800 372 999 or (+353 21 2382410)
