JOBS ALERT: ALDI hiring for staff across three supermarkets in Offaly

ALDI is looking to hire 11 new staff for its three supermarkets in Offaly and has initiated a recruitment drive to fill the open roles.

The retailer, which celebrated 25 years in Ireland last year, is looking to recruit new team members for its network of three Offaly stores following a busy Christmas period and as the retailer prepares for a busy year ahead in delivering for its customers.

The 11 open roles in Offaly are a mix of both new jobs and backfill positions.

Offaly is an important part of ALDI’s network with three stores and an annual spend of over €23 million with six Offaly based suppliers

ALDI continues to invest in its Irish business, adding more people and filling existing open roles as the retailer prepares for a busy 2025.

Last November, ALDI announced the acquisition of a €24 million 60-acre Kildare site, once again signalling the company’s continued investment in Ireland. ALDI said the investment was part of the business’ long term strategic growth planning.
The current starting rate for store assistants and warehouse operatives is a market-leading €14.80 per hour, exceeding the current rate set by The Living Wage Technical Group.
