A defendant from Kilcormac was disqualified from holding a driving licence for two years during last week's court sitting.

Georges Mevoa, Ballincloghan, Kilcormac pleaded guilty to having no insurance and no NCT Cert at Wilmer Road, Townparks, Birr on July 14 last.

The defending solicitor Patrick Martin said his client is 39 years of age.

Judge Andrew Cody also fined Mevoa €200 for the no insurance offence and another €200 for not having an NCT Cert.
