Gardai in Tullamore looking for owner of wallet handed in by 'honest member of the public'
Gardai in Tullamore are looking for the owner of a wallet handed in by who they described as an 'honest member of the public'.
Gardai shared a picture of the wallet adding that an 'honest member of the public' handed in the wallet containing cash. It was found outside the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore on Wednesday.
Gardai say the owner should contact the Tullamore property office via email tullamore.property@garda.ie and quote reference number 24972844.
A number of comments on the post praised the person who handed in the wallet with one stating, "nice to know there is some honesty still out there," with another saying, "lovely to see this. Honest Person whoever you are, you're a credit."
