In a post on Facebook, the Tullamore photographer said,

"I headed back up to the Slieve Bloom Mountains to get a few last snow pics before the heavy frost that is promised makes conditions treacherous up there.  The views were stunning but a lot of damage has been done by the recent heavy snow and there are a lot of trees down on the roads and mountain biking trails.

"I parked up at Kinnitty Wood and walked from there. Between fallen trees and snow depth the road over the mountain is completely impassable at the moment."
