Go Fund Me page set up to help 'little miracle Kai' from Offaly

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help an Offaly family whose baby was born at just 24 weeks old. 
Danielle and John Rogers have only spent 76 days at home with their baby Kai who is suffering from a range of health issues since he was born such as chronic lung disease, high risk cerebral palsy, gut dystonia, kidney stones and brain damage.
As the Go Fund Me page says, "Kai has had such a tough start in life" weighing only 750g when he was born and being given a very low survival rate.
At such a young age, Kai has endured many surgeries and they are unsure whether his brain damage will worsen.
As Danielle spends most of her time in Temple Street Hospital with Kai, her partner John was forced to leave work in March of this year to help look after their four other children at home.
Kai's parents have spent almost 18 months in hospital with him, which according to the Go Fund Me page: "As you can imagine life is extremely tough at the moment and financially it's a big struggle it has taken a toll on both their mental and physical health."
On top of this incredibly emotionally strenuous situation, Danielle and John are faced with many financial challenges.
The Go Fund Me page reads: "Times are hard for everyone but as you can imagine Danielle has to pay for 3 meals a day and accommodation in the family unit while paying for a house, bills and 4 other kids and now Christmas on top of everything.
"If we can make Danielle and John's life a small bit easier by lifting the financial weight off their shoulders it would be greatly appreciated there's no amount too small."
