Ireland is in for another unsettled week of weather according to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast
According to the latest forecast from Met Eireann, the weather will be wet and windy at times this week but there will also be the occasional spells of dry weather with sunny spells.
According to the latest weather forecast for Ireland from Met Eireann, Tuesday will see a mix of cloudy periods and some sunny spells and just the slight chance of an isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light northerly breezes.
It will be rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Tuesday night, though likely to stay dry in the far northwest. Winds will fall light overnight with overnight lows of 3 to 7 degrees. Later in the night the rain clearing southeastwards with a moderate northerly breeze setting in.
According to Met Eireann, there will be a cloudy and perhaps dull start on Wednesday morning with overnight showers lingering across southern and eastern areas. They will slowly die out by the afternoon with long dry spells developing nationwide with sunny spells. Light northerly breezes and highs of 9 to 12 degrees.
Wednesday night will be another cloudy but mostly dry night with light winds and lows of around 2 to 5 degrees. Overnight however southerly winds will freshen ahead of a band of rain moving into western counties.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Thursday will be cloudy and dull with widespread rain and blustery winds. The rain will be heavy at times in the north and west. Some drier periods will occur in the south. Highs of 11 to 14 degrees.
Cloudy with scattered showers, perhaps a little more persistent across the northwest on Thursday night. Moderate to fresh westerly breezes but also quite mild overnight with lows of 7 to 10 degrees.
According to Met Eireann, current models would suggest Friday would be another very unsettled day with widespread showers, possibly heavy at times and strong and gusty winds too. Highs of around 9 to 12 degrees.
