PICTURES: Ballinamere/Durrow Senior Ladies Football mark successful year with dinner dance

The event which was held in the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore also included an awards presentation

Ballinamere/Durrow Senior Ladies Football marked a hugely successful year with a dinner dance in Tullamore recently. 

The event which was held in the Bridge House Hotel also consisted of an awards presentation to pay tribute to some of their standout players throughout the season. 

It was a great year for Ballinamere/Durrow as they captured the Offaly Senior Ladies Football title for the first time when they overcame reigning champions Naomh Ciaran in the final at The Faithful Fields in October.

Emma Hand was announced as the Senior Club Player of the Year for 2025. The award was the culmination of a fantastic season for Emma who was a key player in the forward line and contributed hugely to the team’s success throughout the year.

The award for Minor Club Player of the Year for 2025 went to Ava Grennan. Ava had a fantastic year with the club and proved herself to be a very reliable defender during the season.
