ENTHUSIASM is mounting in Killavilla as the Drama Grouup excitedly prepare for their 21st performance.

This year's play “Drinking Habits” is set to meet the same high standards we have come to expect from the group. This is a laugh out loud production and is sure to be a great night of entertainment!

“Drinking Habits” is a wildly funny farce by American playwright Tom Smith, a prolific and esteemed writer in his own right, who is the recipient of the prestigious Robert .J..Pickering Award for Excellence in Playwriting.

A Synopsis

Drinking Habits is a farcical comedy about the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing who have devised a very novel and unorthodox way to fund their convent. When two reporters go undercover to expose them, the plot descends into chaos, involving mistaken identities, paranoia and frantic fast-paced antics!

The Cast

This year's fantastic cast, many of whom are now well seasoned actors, and have appeared in many of the group's productions over the years, includes; Brendan Dooley, Marion Grannell, Fiona Cormican, Breda Delaney, James Shanahan, Ronan Foyle and Sinead Browne.

This year they are also delighted to extend a very hearty welcome to their newest cast member Nuala Browne.
