These are the faces of two suspects gardaí are looking to speak to over the audacious theft of almost €1,500 worth of goods stole during a raid from a shop in Longford town.

Detectives have released the images of both male suspects in a bid for the public's help to help identify the pair.

The incident, which took place at a discount store on November 3 last year, resulted in the theft of approximately €1,448 of items.

The pair entered the store at approximately 4:30pm and swiftly made their way up a detergents isle before beginning to place a number of items into a trolley.

CCTV footage of the incident captured both suspects covering the trolley with a blanket before passing all points of payment with the stolen items.

Gardaí have described the first suspect as being 6ft in height with black or brown hair, while wearing a black jacket with dark grey sleeves, light grey pants and black Nike runners.

The second suspect is described as approximately 5’10 with brown hair. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, navy Nike pants and black runners.
