GARDAI in Limerick are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in a hotel in Limerick city.
Emergency services attended the scene at the Strand Hotel after 3am on Tuesday morning.
The body of the woman, who was in her mid 40s, remains at the scene.
A post mortem will take place in due course which will determine the course of the investigation.
