Stolen car drove against traffic on the motorway
A suspected stolen car was driven the wrong way down the motorway in Laois at the weekend.
It's understood the Nissan Micra was stolen in Cork before being spotted by Gardai travelling North on the M7 on Sunday.
After being spotted by gardai, the car drove North towards Dublin in the Southbound lane between Junction 16 and 15. The car was recovered in Vicarstown where gardai arrested the juvenile driver after a short foot pursuit. Twitter user Hugh Finn posted a clip of the incident.
