Louth  pull clear in Division 3 as relegation battle begins

The third weekend of games in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League has seen one team pull clear at the top while just two points covers the other six teams.

Louth continued their strong start with a win over Offaly in O'Connor Park. Tipperary have moved up to second with their win over Laois on Saturday evening but the rest of the teams are right their on their heels.

Sligo and Armagh have their noses in front of the pack on three points with the remaining four teams, Longford, Offaly, Laois and Antrim all locked on two points. Antrim are currently at the foot of their table by virtue of their score difference but they will be buoyed by their first win of the season over Sligo.

Laois are currently in the relegation places on score difference with Offaly just ahead of Longford based on points scored.

Results: Antrim 0-11 Sligo 1-7; Longford 3-9 Armagh 3-11; Offaly 0-14 Louth 2-13; Laois 1-10 Tipperary 1-16
