A NUMBER of changes have been made on the Offaly senior football team to play Meath in the O'Byrne Cup semi-final this evening – it is now in Gracefield with a 7.30pm throw in.

With some players tied up with Sigerson Cup games, Offaly have strengthened their team with the Tullamore quartet of Daire McDaid, Aaron Leavy and brothers Diarmuid and Cormac Egan all called into the starting line-up.

Cathal Ryan, Eoin Dunne, Harry Plunkett and Darragh Flynn are gone from the starting team that defeated Carlow last Saturday with Killeigh man Dunne listed among the subs.

The other change is an interesting positional one with Jordan Hayes named at centre half back and Marcas Dalton in new territory on the half forward line.
