Dan Bourke - Dan Bourke was one of Offaly's heroes on the day. The U-20 All-Ireland winning captain only got one point and probably should have tapped over when he went for goal in the second half but he was pivotal to the win. He gave a great shift when he went out to midfield after Eimhin Kelly was replaced, disrupting Laois' dominance there as he shut off space and got on ball. He ran into empty late on but still had the wherewithall to win the ball and set up Killian Samspon for the crucial lead point just before injury time. Rating – 9
