South Offaly Ploughing held a special presentation night for their All Ireland Novice winner – Jack O’Meara, Coolderry.

The event took place on Friday night last in The Thatch, Crinkill and pictured above is Chairman Jonathan Murray making a presentation to Jack who is the fourth person to bring an All Ireland title to the South Offaly club in their 28th year of existence.

Jonathan Murray was the first member of South Offaly Ploughing to win an All-Ireland title and subsequently John McBryde and Laura Grant added national honours before Jack O'Meara became the fourth winner at the championships held in Ratheniska last September.

They will be looking for further success when the National Ploughing returns to Offaly next September at the venue in Screggan, Tullamore.
